SOILCRATES Request for Applications is now closed!
Following the fifth Review Round, we inform candidates that the budget allocated to the SOILCRATES Request for Applications process has been exhausted. This FSTP-process is thus now closed. No further rounds are foreseen to take place as part of the SOILCRATES project.
With an overall budget of €1.6 million, this FSTP Request for Applications was designed to identify and fund innovative, participatory approaches to soil management and regeneration at the local level, in the SOILCRATES identified regions — including the region of Landes in France; the counties of Clare, Limerick, and Tipperary in Ireland; the Province of Granada in Spain; and the provinces of Fryslân, Groningen and Drenthe in the North of the Netherlands.
Selected initiatives received subgrants between €20,000 to €60,000 and benefited from technical support from the SOILCRATES consortium as well as knowledge exchange within a cross-regional network of stakeholders.
Timeline (as of 02/03/2026)
Notification of modification in the Request for Application deadlines – In order to better match the needs of the Living Labs, the deadline to participate to Review Round 5, initially planned on April 26th, has been brought forward to March 29th. The submission platform will remain open without interruption until March 29th.
