The recent SOSVITI mid-term meeting and international workshop marked an important and highly productive milestone for the project. Bringing together researchers, institutions, and industry collaborators, the event reflected strong momentum and a shared commitment to advancing sustainable innovation.

Hosted at ETS ICCP Granada, with the valued support of Mónica López Alonso and the Oficina de Proyectos Internacionales of the Universidad de Granada, the workshop provided a dynamic space for collaboration, knowledge exchange, and forward-looking discussions.

We extend our sincere appreciation to all project partners for their dedication and generosity, traveling, presenting, and actively contributing to the success of the event. Special thanks also go to the companies and organizations that supported the initiative, including VitaNtech Biotechnology, Graniot, Señorío de Nevada, and the SOILCRATES EU Medialab UGR.

Beyond the event itself, this meeting reflects the continued growth of the EGEMAP (Environmental Geography and Mapping) network. It is inspiring to see how collaboration strengthens our collective impact.

Finally, we would like to recognize the outstanding contribution of the PhD student team. Their commitment, organization, and energy were essential to making this workshop a success, highlighting the vital role of early-career researchers in driving projects forward.

We look forward to building on this momentum as the SOSVITI project continues.
