28–29 October 2025 – Córdoba, Spain

The Granada Tierra Viva Living Lab participated in the Microbioma 2025 Congress, held on 28 and 29 October 2025 at the Córdoba Exhibition, Fair and Convention Centre. The congress brought together researchers and professionals to discuss advances in soil microbiology and its relevance for sustainable agriculture and ecosystem health.

Representing the University of Granada and the SOILCRATES project, Dr. Irene Ortiz Bernad presented the objectives and progress of SOILCRATES, with particular emphasis on the role of Living Labs in translating scientific knowledge into practical, territorially grounded solutions. The presentation highlighted how the Granada Tierra Viva Living Lab integrates research, innovation, and stakeholder participation to address soil health challenges.

Participation in the congress strengthened links between soil science research and applied territorial initiatives, reinforcing the scientific foundations of the Living Lab. The event also provided opportunities to exchange experiences with other researchers working on soil biodiversity and resilience.
