SoilCycle – Nutrients from manure digestion as fertiliser: a practical comparison with conventional fertilisation

SoilCycle aims to determine, through a practical field trial under real-world conditions, to what extent nutrient streams from mono-manure digestion and manure processing (digestate and separated fractions, and where applicable nutrient concentrates) can replace or supplement a conventional fertilisation plan in arable farming. The core is a fair, measurably substantiated comparison with standard cultivation, to clarify whether and under what conditions these streams are practically deployable. The goal is to significantly reduce the use of artificial fertiliser and, where possible, replace it with regional, recovered nutrients.
