LaNDSoil – Nourrir le sol pour nourrir les plantes

The project idea is to design, manufacture, and certify a “farm-produced” pellet and verify whether it can match or even exceed a commercial benchmark (commonly used poultry manure) in terms of agronomic efficiency, using the same spreading method and a comparative calculation of the cost price.
The project focuses on pellets manufactured on the farm from local resources without significant investment, and which are easy to apply: most farms already have a suitable spreader, facilitating widespread use across the region.
The 3 farmers involved will try to validate a simple basic formulation: 1/3 structure, 1/3 fast food, 1/3 slow food, adjusted according to soil and crops. The formulations aim for a C/N ratio of 12 to 18 to stimulate biological activity, limit nitrogen hunger, and promote gradual mineralization, contributing to the construction of stable organic matter.
