From 9 to 11 December 2025, the Granada Tierra Viva Living Lab participated in the CrossMED 2025 International Conference, hosted by the University of Granada. The conference brought together international experts to examine Mediterranean landscapes through multidisciplinary perspectives, including environmental sustainability, land management, and territorial resilience.
Researchers linked to the Living Lab contributed to sessions addressing soil health, land degradation, and the role of innovation in Mediterranean territories. The participation highlighted how SOILCRATES supports integrated approaches that connect scientific research with territorial experimentation and stakeholder engagement.
CrossMED 2025 provided a valuable platform for situating SOILCRATES within broader debates on landscape sustainability and climate adaptation. Exchanges during the conference reinforced the relevance of Living Labs as spaces where environmental, social, and economic dimensions intersect.
Participation in CrossMED strengthened the visibility of the Granada Tierra Viva Living Lab and demonstrated how SOILCRATES contributes to multidisciplinary dialogue and knowledge exchange on soil health and sustainable land use.
