SUMMARY:Unlocking Science-Policy Synergies for Europe`s Green and Digital Future
DESCRIPTION:As part of Europe’s growing push to align scientific research with environmental policymaking\, the University of Granada\, together with the Erasmus+ ENGAGEgreen project\, will coordinate a key panel discussion at the upcoming European conference “Unlocking Science-Policy Synergies for Europe’s Green and Digital Future.” \nWithin the framework of this event\, UGR and ENGAGEgreen will coordinate the panel discussion titled:“Water and Earth: From Research to Public Policies for Environmental Protection.” \nThis session will focus on soil and water-related challenges\, aiming to spark dialogue between scientists\, policymakers\, and community actors. The University of Granada is particularly interested in connecting this session with the ongoing work of the SOILCRATES project\, which explores pathways for integrating scientific evidence into sustainable land and water governance. \nSession Structure\nThe session will follow a dynamic and participatory format: \n\n\nA general 30-minute discussion with around 40 participants\, introducing key themes and challenges at the intersection of science and policy.\nTwo rotating roundtable dialogues\, one centered on soil and the other on water\, enabling focused interaction and collaborative idea-sharing across disciplines.\n\nThis interactive format is designed to strengthen the link between scientific research and public policy\, with an interdisciplinary perspective and a strong focus on environmental protection. The session will also promote the exchange of best practices\, insights from EU-funded projects\, and emerging tools for policy innovation. \n\nRegistrer here : https://anmeldung.studiumdigitale.uni-frankfurt.de/allgemein/index.php?veranstaltung=egreen_cnf
