The project focuses on addressing Ireland’s agricultural and environmental challenges by promoting sustainable soil management\, biodiversity restoration\, and the integration of circular agriculture practices. \n\n\nWhat to Expect: \n\n\nCo-Creation Session: Learn how the Living Lab can address soil health issues\, such as nitrogen overuse and poor drainage\, by introducing innovative practices like biochar application\, intercropping with nitrogen-fixing plants\, and of course by raising general awareness of the importance of good soil quality through community-oriented events. \n\n\nKnowledge Exchange: The Living Lab serves as a hub for knowledge exchange across multiple counties\, fostering a collaborative network of stakeholders to promote resilient agricultural systems in the Mid-West region through real-world trials and experimentation. \n\n\nFunding Opportunities: The project will also be providing financial support to a number of trials and pilot initiatives focused on soil enhancement projects. \n\n\n\n\n\nWhen & Where?\n\nDate: Thursday\, 26th June 2025\nTime: 7:30 PM – 9:30 PM\nLocation:  Deebert House Hotel\, Kilmallock\, V35 KV62\n\nTo register\, please fill out the form here \nFor more information\, please contact Rhiannon Laubach at 087-1940608 or via email at rlaubach@ballyhoura.org.
