The SOILCRATES project has officially launched its Request for Applications (RfA) to support local and regional initiatives dedicated to improving soil health across Europe. With a total budget of €1.6 million, the call will fund at least 40 local projects in France, Ireland, Spain, and the Netherlands, each lasting between one and two years within the four SOILCRATES Living Labs.
The RfA aims to foster collaboration between academia and local actors, including farmers, SMEs, research organisations, and education bodies, to co-create innovative, participatory solutions for soil management and regeneration. Selected projects will receive subgrants of €20,000 to €60,000, along with technical and knowledge-exchange support from the SOILCRATES consortium.
Application deadline: 30 November 2025
Next submission rounds: 25 January 2026 and 1 March 2026
